Software notice (pre-release)

This is a short notice for a paid pre-release, not a negotiated contract and not legal advice. A fuller customer license can replace it when checkout is live. If anything here conflicts with terms shown at payment time, those payment terms win for that purchase.
The product
SurveyDoctor is proprietary desktop software for reviewing REDCap data-dictionary metadata. It is not open source. It is not REDCap, not Online Designer, and not affiliated with Vanderbilt or the REDCap Consortium.
It does not process participant records. It does not write changes back to a REDCap server. You remain responsible for what you upload to your own projects.
License
A paid seat lets you install and use SurveyDoctor for your own work (including work for your institution). You may not redistribute the installers, share a seat as a public download, or reverse-engineer the app to build a competing product. You do not get the source code.
Pre-release builds are unsigned. Operating-system warnings (SmartScreen, Gatekeeper) are expected. Current builds support Windows 11 x64 and macOS on Apple Silicon.
Subscription
When self-serve checkout exists, access is an annual subscription billed by the merchant of record. Cancel through their customer portal. Until then, access is arranged over email.
No warranty
SurveyDoctor is provided as-is. Diagnostics are an aid to review; they can miss issues and can flag things you meant to keep. You decide what to change in REDCap. We are not liable for study data, regulatory outcomes, or lost work.
